We are a small breeding operation in central Iowa specializing in Ponies of America. We produce beautiful ponies that perform on the rail and win in halter. We have a few select mares and breed a few outside mares every year. Our broodmare herd include daughters of Lord of the Rings, Impulsive Zipper, Certain Potential, Gucci Only, A Sudden Impulse and Suddenly a Sonny. Wish Upon a Star produced this year's Reichart McClaren Futurity winner, High point JPFC 3/4 yr old, and her yearling colt is leading the nation in stallion halter. This years weanling filly Wish To Star place 7th of 53 fillies in this year weanling futurity.
Our breeding stallion, CR Star Kid was the International small stallion champion in 2002. One of the most successful breeding sons of Kid O Tough, his dam, Starlight Starbright, an own daughter the Rock Star, has produced International champions as well. His ponies have small, beautiful heads, and are great performance ponies. Crystalview POAS had the High Point 2 yr old and Western Incentive winner, DKs Bright Comet, , the Reserve High Point 3/4 yr old JPFC winner with CVs Silent Star, the yearling stallion winner, Handsome Hollywood Star, and the Reserve yearling Gelding with Zippos Star Chex in the 2009 Futurity. Judge Roy Bean, a 3yr old Star Kid gelding topped the fall sale. This year two of Star Kids 3 yr old geldings, Zippos Starchex and Zipped N Stars had outstanding finishes at the International and Reichart futurities. Fillies by Star Kid placed 7th & 8th in a class of 53 in the fall futurity.
This year CA Good stood our new breeding stallions, Handsome Hollywood Star 2010 Futurity Champion Stallion and Ima Impulsive Star whose first colt crop included“Hot Commodity” the Reserve International Futurity Champion weanling stallion. As a yearling this young stallion was International Jr. Champion stallion and International Fall yearling stallion champion. CA Good, co owner of these fine young stallions, stands them in Winterset, Iowa. Together we will have an exciting crop of foals for your consideration
